1. What are the most interesting aspects of World Wars 1 and 2?

The most interesting aspects of World War1 and 2 is the propaganda involved in both wars. They're both humorous and it accurately depicted the current situation.

2. What do you hope to learn about these wars?

3. How/Why are these wars important today? How do they impact and/or inform our world today? hint: think about alliances, democracies around the world, cultures, international institutions, nuclear (and other) technologies, etc.

Do you believe that the Grapes of Wrath successfully establishes sympathy for the plight of Dust Bowl farmers? Why or why not?

I believe that the Grapes of Wrath successfully establishes sympathy for the plight of Dust Bowl farmers. Because it led many desperate farmers to migrate to California in search for a better life. The farmers just lost everything in the dust bowl and had to begin a new chapter in their lives rebuilding or migrating to new land.

During ampersand I think we had a lot of freedoms in writing what we want for the book. As managing editor I've seen many of my classmates topics for their writing and it gave me an insight of what the book might turn out to be.

My topic will be on neckties. It will be an editorial against wearing neckties.
